I think it is because we live in a democracy and I do not think that anyone should buy a candidacy, especially when the resourses come from wrestling, a sport that turns off most women.

We also live in a FREE Democracy, where people can make money in whatever field they choose (so long as it is legal), and can do whatever they choose to with the money they earn from their endeavors. That is what makes this country so great and unique. Yes, she's put out a ton of mailers already. But I can go blow thousands of my own dollars on donuts if I want. Will you stop me because I may hurt my own health? Linda McMahon is running for Senate not for the power, or wealth, or anything else. She's beholden to the people. Our current Senators and Representatives are beholden to their jobs and themselves (since none of them actually own their own business, like Mrs. McMahon).; February 25, 2010 at 4:32 PM
