Anonymous said...: The exact same thing happened to me last week. The virus suggested that I sign up for new soft ware. They really wanted my credit card. There is alot of this going around. Since my Dell was over five years, it would cost too much to rid the viruses. I bought my third computer, an ASUS and had the Geek Squad set it up. I set up the first two, but, now pushing eighty, I loved having the geeks do it. They do alot of extra things, too.; February 17, 2010 at 4:38 PM

I wonder if it was the Herald (unknowingly of course, I am not implying they would do it intentionally) that might have been spreading it to the rest of us when we visited their web site?; February 17, 2010 at 7:30 PM
