"I feel let down because this does not reflect the standards I work so hard to uphold," O'Brien said.

What standards?

Gerratana for his legislative aide.

Rick Lopes for Campaign Manager.

Treasurer is involved with campaign finance issues.

Need I say more?

I could use a no interest loan right about now. Think O'Brien would help me?

Well, at least didn't hesitate to distance himself and call for an investigation. I'll give him credit for that.
What about Sherwood or Trueworthy? Will he take a similar stand and call for an ethics investigation? Nope. The duo are only interested in ethics when they think a Republican has done something wrong. If it one of their own, even if it is an council member who misses more than half the meetings every year it will be enough if it was in the past -- just like with Candelori.

Check out Tim O'Brien's facebook page. He is running a "jobs survey" his followers are asking him to run for governor!

Maybe if this scandal causes her to lose her council seat, the czar of ethics will want to appoint a champion of Democratic ethics like Candelori to replace her on the council.
