cutting spending and reducing govt is the only way we will ever get out of this massive debt the dems have been running us into

This is exactly the kind of governor we need to fix Connecticut's broken bloated state government:

N.J. Gov. Christie Freezes Spending
With State's Budget In 'Shambles,' New Governor Slices Into School Surpluses, NJ Transit Subsidies; Dems Furious

He had the cohones to do it on his own executive authority and doesn't care what the Democrats in the legislature even think about his plan for massive state cuts. NOW THAT'S A GOVERNOR!!!

The Attorney General’s office spent $5,100,205 on attorney’s fees to private law firms.

I guess Blumenthal couldn't hold his own staff accountable to do the work they are being paid for, so he saw fit to pay private attorneys over $5 million to do it for them!

Hopefully his Republican opponent will bring this up during the campaign. If not, I am sure a good CT resident like Glenn Beck will be willing to tell everyone about it on his show.
