So let me understand. Sherwood is trying to help the resident taxpayers in New Britain by forcing the union into cost saving measures? What are his ideas and suggestions regarding the same?

And he is suggesting that Mayor Stewart opposes cost saving measures and is in the unions pocket because he stands to gain from being a former firefighter? Exactly what is that gain and where is the proof of this?

Also, this attorney that handled negotiations is a blood relative of Mayor Stewart because he is a cousin of a brother-inlaw of a sister-inlaw?

Look Phil, you were elected by the people to oversee the cities budget and seeing as you can't even handle your own campaign accounting maybe your position should be re-considered. Stop wasting time stirring the pot every chance you can and get to work. Your embarrassing yourself again.

Once again this immature politician tries to embarass the mayor and city by inferring that something wrong is going on in the negotiations. Then vote no you idiot. Why must you continually try to point fingers at republicans when it is the democrats who are the most incompetent, useless bunch I've ever seen. Get a life Phil and become a man. I pity your children if this is going to be their role model growing up.

The Herald is reporting this ridiculous complaint as a "page one" story as if it has some merit, but when the mayor has something of substance, they either don't report it at all, or bury it so deep inside the paper you would need GPS to find it.

More one sided reporting from the paper that is seemingly controlled by Sherwood. I can't wait for their big spread on how wonderful Sherwood is.

Smith the Editor should simply title his glowing rantings about Sherwood "Mr. Wonderful!"

Hopefully that edition of the paper will come with a barf bag.

Hey Phil, I am confused. I read over the story about your complaint, and I have one question about it:

WHERE'S THE BEEF?
