Attempts to stop the New Britain's Proposed Busway By our state Senator Donald DeFronzo which impairs any of the future business growth for our downtown business district by his joining in with Bristol's efforts for the rail system.

Our other state representatives support the proposed busway which leaves to ponder as to why the Senator is pushing for Bristol's desires when he doesn't even represent Bristol.

DeFronzo said that he prefers a regional approach to helping the "towns in his district"!! No lie; read Craven's article. Evidently it has escaped Donald that Bristol is not one of the towns. DeFronzo is also supporting Malloy for Governor; of course he must have encouraged Malloy to go to Bristol to meet with the rocket scientists ( e.g., Mike Nicastro) from Bristol who run the Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. Word has it that DeFronzo is looking to be State DOT Commissioner is Malloy is elected. If Malloy loses, Donald still retains his safe seat as State Senator.
Donald was never interested, even when Mayor, in economic development in NB, only in being a "community organizer."

The NB RTC ought to be preparing a challenge to Donald. he's useless to NB.
