FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
The Caterpillar Company announced that it would cost for their medical employee insurance plan a minimum of $100 million dollars.
Verizon health plan will be taxed 40% as an excise tax which may be passed on to the employees.
It quite apparent that many of the Corporate America Companies will sending notices to all their employees similar to the aforementioned firms.
One interesting comment that should alert retirees----- that it will cost the average couple under the Medicare program a minimum of $250,000 for medical care.

Frank, there's a video with Bill O'Reilly and Congressman Weiner showing O'Reilly asking the same question "who will enforce the health care legislation IF a person decides NOT to pay the fine" FIVE times, getting a BS song and dance and then be accused of distorting the truth from the congressman.
The congressman almost pouts!
Can you find it and post it?
"Women Take Notice"
With passage of the health care reform bill, those of us with private health insurance can expect to see our premiums go up in response to goverment restrictions and fees which will be implemented. This is already taking place by the reduction in services and testing that we have long come to expect by many of our health plans. The American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology has made sweeping changes to the annual pap smear test as of 1/2010. Your physician will discuss with you screening every other year in your 20's and only once every 3 years for women 30 and older who have had consecutive negative tests the last two years. This cost savings will not be reflected in reduced premiums for us, the consumer. More importantly this puts women in America at risk. The goverment funded insurance programs will follow the established guidelines which ultimately will also include moving the annual mammogram to every other year. The first step to health care reform in this country is to slight the American Woman. Thank you President Obama for taking women backwards in this country.
Women who have no insurance will get some, and those of us who have health insurance will get less. Equal playing field. Socialist goverment.
