Why don,t we get rid of the union and then ask UTC if they would be willing to stay! The answer would probably yes! There are a lot of innocent people that will get hurt, but they can thank the unions and the slugs they protect! There idea of job security is to slow down production. Guess it didn't work this time. And who will be at front of the line to demonstrate? The same lazy slugs that made it all possible. Way to go! JSJ
Didn't Shaws just pull out of Connecticut, and didn't I read a statement from the union president bellyaching about how they sold some of the stores to non-union chains?
Unions are not the solution, they are part of the problem.
I hope UTC moves all 26,000 jobs to right to work states where they will get the same job for about half the labor cost, and the people will be happier because of the lower cost of living in their new home. The cost of living is lower because the state is run by Republicans and unions are essentially illegal!

That is only half the problem. You also need to get rid of the socialist Democrats in the legislature and start eliminating their socialist entitlement programs, cutting the bloat in state government, and as a result, cutting taxes to our businesses--then and only then will businesses be willing to stay.
Until then, Connecticut will continue to transition itself as a ghost state!

YES AND DO NOT FORGET THE 26,000 FAMILIES WHO ARE MOSTLY cT. RESIDENTS.
Blumethal may very well go down in history as destroying more jobs than Obama (if that is possible).
Is this what it is going to take for our socialist NB delegation to change their ways? I doubt it.
When they realize they need a private sector to pay for the opulence of the government sector it will be too late.
The last private sector job to leave PLEASE turn off the green friendly lights.
