How about asking how our community can help the city to help reduce these costs? We all should be responsible citizens and maybe we can help in other ways without having to pay more money. I know we have smart people in our community; there must be someone with a good idea? We mustn't rely on our government for everything.

Tim Stewart has done a great job holding down the taxes. You need to let the complainers know about the three dozen poeople or more in the school district who are making annual salaries well over $100,000 Very few live in New Britain.

Blame it on those members of the BOE crybabying about the need for more money while they stuff their faces with all the catered food ordered by Kurtz.

Take that position if you wish, but in actuality, the city hs been funding education just a tad above the state minimum requirement. You may think they are wasting money but the wasting of the money is not causing our taxes to go up because they are required to get the minimum amount no matter what.
