Parents of NBHS school children are supposed to be elated about this news! Really. What about all thge children who went through the school when it was substandard?
There are a number of different standards in measuring success in the NB Schools. Standards for Doris Kurtz and The BOE and school standards. The BOE and the Superintendent puff themselves up along with their lackluster Principals, Directors, etc., while the teachers get the shaft.
Case in point. Dr. Kurtz is allowed to spend wildly with questionable results while our schools fail.
Jack Cochran also used questionable tactics (in the eyes of some) but his teams succeeded beyond anyone's expectations.
You hear a lot of folks saying, "bring back Jack." Do you hear anybody saying, renew Doris' contract, or reelect the BOE?
