Does this have anything to do with how the Working Families Party, aka ACORN affected the voting during our last municipal election?

How did that work anyway? Who got paid by those organizations? There was alot of money being funneled around. I found it really strange how close the election turned out Stewart/O'Brien. I know Tim Stewart actually earned every citizen's educated vote and had local taxpayers out volunteering on his campaign. I am still not sure how some wards such as ward 5 turned out so many votes for Tim O'Brien? That ward is generally a low vote producer? Weird. There were strangers from other towns and states out canvassing the community for Tim O'Brien, why? What was in it for them? I know Mr. O'Brien is a professional politician, I mean it's how he has always made his living, supported himself off of the taxpayer dollar, right? He has to keep that gig going.

Will this new resolution somehow help that social system? I can't see how a local municipal common council would even bring such a resolution and pass a bipartisn item like this. This country, state and city is still a two party system, isn't it?

I wish this group would pack up their carpetbags and find a new nesting ground.

Can anyone tell me what this issue has to do with the business of the City of New Britain, or is Trueworthy simply abusing the power of his elected office to push his radical agenda?
