New Britain residents should be concerned as this new hospital will no doubt put Hospital for Central Connectcut right out of business. HCC, as a private hospital, has a duty to its stockholders to make a profit. UCONN, being a state agency is free to continue to lose billions of dollars a year and just call the capitol to have them transfer more millions of your tax dollars into their account to keep them afloat. A Government run hospital has no incentive to make a profit, as UCONN's dismal record has already demonstrated.
