I read that the Middletown Press walked away with 21 of these, how many did the Herald get?

I guess the Middletown Press won so many awards because they run mainstream editorials written by such well respected editors as Chris Powell, the Managing Editor of the Journal Inquirer.

The Herald just keeps running the same tired old left wing opinions of the same zealots who are apparently running the paper into the ground, and then they wonder why no one reads?

I'm confused by the photo which shows the herald is is in the same place as an investment firm. Are things that bad? What happened to that big building they used to call herald square?

I rarely, if ever, agree with anything the nbh prints, but in this one instance, Mr. Craven seemed to do a thorough job of reporting the misuse of the state computers. I remember I was particularly amazed that they would report such sleazy tactics by the democrats they usually seem to blindly support no matter what.

I agree, I was not only surprised he was allowed to write such a story, I was surprised they kept him on staff after. This type of reporting is clearly not the normal style of the herald at least not when it reports on dems. Imagine if one of the repubs did this?
