Late-night break-ins plague downtown business owner - The New Britain Herald (newbritainherald.com)

Anonymous said...: I have been downtown for 22 years and have felt and been safe for 22 years. My job sometimes has me working all night and I have never had an issue in downtown. We do have an alarm system that works and is actively monitored. That's the price of doing business anywhere.

I feel bad for this guy. I do shop at his store. We discussed alarm systems but he doesn't seem too interested.

People need to patronize downtown businesses for them to stay open and grow. Foot traffic helps downtown as a whole. If you can please stop in and buy.
