was it costly in New Jersey where smoking in a casino is a violation of state law?

Since we are the home of the world's 2 largest casinos, we should have set the example by being the leaders, instead of following New Jersey's example, but then again with Governor Christie, New Jersey may even exceed Texas as being the example to the other 49 states!

I agree, if we outlaw smoking, where else can they go? It is not like they will get mad and take their business down the block.

I know several people who have stopped frequenting Foxwoods because they don't support unions, so they go to Mohegan Sun, but if you outlaw smoking at both casinos, what can they do besides gripe about it?
