6th Senatorial District ( New Britain, Berlin, and part of Farmington) Republican delegates unanimously endorsed Henry Zembko III, 37 a life long resident of New Britain, who has been a small business owner in the community. And now a Realtor and office manager for Kelley and Company Real Estate, who is making his first run for Office. Mr. Zembko is currently serving as a member of the New Britain Republican Town Committee representing the 2nd ward, and as a Justice of the Peace
"We need our Government to work, and to work for us. Sadly we have come to the point where its finger pointing, and Party line votes. This doesn't solve the problems that we face today. Our Elected Officials need to know that they represent the Proud Americans that voted for them, and not just the party that they belong to. And we need now, more then ever, to solve the problems that we face in our Streets, Towns and Cities, and States. We need not only to retain the businesses that we have in the state, which we have not done, but attract new businesses to our state as well. Another problem is more 18-35 year olds leave CT after graduation than any other state, this can not continue to happen either if we really intend to have a stable economy in our state.
When we have politicians in office that always say they have the solution to the problems that we face, yet when their term is over there was none, it reminds me of this quote by Albert Einstein "We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them" . But that's what they are trying to do, and what we need to change that in November. I'm Henry Zembko and I want to be your next State Senator in the 6th Senatorial District so we can move forward by focusing on our Citizens and the problems that we all face everyday"
Mr Zembko is a very proud resident of the City of New Britain, and has been involved in many community activities and organizations over the years. Most notable is his pride of being a member of the Elks, where at B.P.O.E. # 957 he is currently the Esteemed Leading Knight

I would like to see Tim Stewart take on Defronzo, but the only downfall to that is what radical socialist would take over the city and destroy all of Tim's hard work?
I think Tim would do a great job as well, but we need him to continue the great work that he has done over the years. I think he knows its going to take at least one more term to finish what he started. I am confident that the citizens of New Britain will see all the progress that his administration made over the years and he will get re-elected in 2012 and maybe even 2014! Keep up the good work!
As far as Mr Zemko goes I think he is capable of defeating Defronzo and bring a lot of common sense to Hartford as well as a lot of good to the City of New Britain. It will be. Nice to have someone on our side for a change! (Unlike Donald) Good Luck Henry! And FYI rumor has it Mr. Zemko WILL NOT be accepting campaign donations from any unions! Why? Because he is working for us! NOT them. Now that's a winner.

We had an elected official who was living in Manchester, another living in his father's pool house in Berlin, and now we have a state representative using his mother's address when he reportedly lives elsewhere.
Do any of these Democrats elected in New Britain actually live in New Britain?
Also when are Phil, Mike, lil Tim or John going to make a post and use their name ??? Or even come up with something other then name calling or mud throwing. I am happy to see candidates step up that are True Americans, and willing to represent the voters, not just a party !
Weak candidates? ya I guess your right we should model oursrlves after the Dem's.....like phil the show boating jack ass, or how about the basket case trueworthy that can't finish a sentance, oh you were talking about the state level! I geuss we should find more people like Defronzo who works for everyone but New Britain, or maybe people like Geragosian who can't even answer a simple yes or no question and give money to every one but New Britain. Better yet lets get a real whako like Tercyak who gets arrested standing up for the unions ( thats a good leader NOT) and maybe all our canidates should should hop on the corrupt working families ticket! Why don't we ask the Democratic candidate how he served his country after he was drafted?
