Doris Kurtz did not care about the cost of anything as long as it made her look good.

I do not know the cost of the school magazine but would point out the $15,000 or so that she spent [ or the taxpayers spent] on plaques and rewards for all types of positions in the school district. Most recipients would place it in there bottom drawers and forget it!

Complaints by conservative BOE members are ignored. As usual, the liberals condoned all of her expenses, trips, flights and wasted food at every conceivable meeting.

When will the voters wise up? We need conservative people on the search committee to nominate a new superintendent of schools or we will end up with a new Doris Kurtz.

we also still don't know what they spent on catering meals for their meetings, or producing tv commercials and sending home a DVD with every student trying to sell them on not leaving New Britain schools for a better school someplace else.

What are they ashamed of?????

As usual, Mr.Kilduff poses an intelligent question
Being an accomplished writer, he must have a good idea how much the BOE publication costs. Perhaps he should run for alderman!.
