Why would anyone who wants the truth in reporting buy The Herald. Was this story more important than the arrest of Peter Tercyak,a state representative from New Britain?

Has anyone found out his address as yet. Is he a resident in name only? Does he just use his position to represent his union. What has he ever done for us?

Obviously the Herald editorial staff doesn't feel that the people of New Britain need to know about one of their state representatives getting arrested. Obviously, because he belongs to the party that the editors of the Herald seem to idolize, they want to keep it "hush hush." Just imagine if this case inbvolved one of the Republicans the Herald seems to love bashing? It would be a page one headline, wouldn't it?

Thankfully we still have the Courant, The New Britain City Journal and people like Frank Smith to give us all the news, not just the news a few liberal zealots want us to have!

If Schroeder wants to invest his money in a concern that is failing because of its liberal extremist reporting, it's his money to throw down the drain if he wishes.

Has anyone ever heard of Phil Sherwood before he ran for office? He came here from an unheard of village in Vermont (or is it New Hampshire?) and got elected to the council!!

What's the difference(VT or NH) aren't both states overrun with radical liberals? Look at our carpetbagger who came from there and you tell me?

The Herald is demonstrating that they care little about accuracy and much more about left wing propaganda. They incorrectly cite people's names, cite incorrect ages even though the Courant, WFSB, WTNH, and WTIC all reported it correctly, and go so far as to fail to report a major story about an elected official being hauled away in handcuffs in a radical protest.

Instead of reporting the jailing of a state representative who represents the city they are located in (a story that a Hartford newspaper found worthy of headlines), they chose instead to report on a coffee klatch held to further the campaign of a Democratic candidate.

In my opinion, the Herald is performing as if they are nothing more than an arm of the Democratic Party and the unions--reporting only the propaganda that those socialist groups approve of.

The editors of Pravda must be proud of this editorial staff!

I remember a time when the press worked hard to avoid even the appearance of unfairness. Now they appear to be proud as peacocks to be Obama's mouthpieces.

I guess all those rumors about Sherwood controlling everything the Herald prints must be true!

Just goes to show how out of touch with reality all progressives are.

I didn't read anything in the Herald about Connecticut being the most bankrupt of the 50 states. In fact, according to a Wall Street guru that was on TV yesterday, Connecticut might be in worse financial condition than Greece, and he blamed the socialist Democrats in our legislature for the current condition. He said they continue to spend at record levels and keep borrowing to finance their increasing social giveaway programs, but those bills are coming due and we have no way to pay for all this free stuff they continue to give out as if there is going to be no tomorrow.

That is why our credit rating for our bonds is the lowest in the nation.

Thanks Democrats for destroying my home state!
