Who will even miss them? By the teacher's union's own numbers, this means that the average class size will rise from 8 to 13 before considering that 1/3 of all students are absent every day--a shocking absentee rate being thrown about at board meetings like it is nothing.
Maybe someone should be asking why the absentee rate is so high?
Thats not so bad. The BOE said even with a full budget they were going to let 107 go. And thats the whole truth, not just what the Herald wants you to read.
so $1.5 million would only save 15 teachers? What a bargain!
