The Blame Game by the DTC Chairman!
ACT TWO
In a letter to the Editor in the Hardware Journal Mr. McNamara blames or implies that Mayor Stewart and his minions "seek to discredit Democratic Legislatures for not getting more state money for education."
Well John please recall the CPOA meeting where the state's Co-Chair of the Appropriations Committee, Rep. John Geragosian when asked as to why educational funding was provided for Waterbury, New Haven, New London and Bridgeport and not any added funds for New Britain and his answer was that those other towns needed more help than New Britain. The question that surfaced was Geragosion really representing New Britain for its needs?
As you stated in today's Hartford Courant you are planning a DTC meeting on Wednesday night for an "open dialog." Isn't it a closed minded meeting since you have been quoted on many occasions supporting the additional funding for the New Britain Board Of Education?
You May continue to blame the Mayor but the real culprits are Geragosian, O'Brian, Tercyak, your minions at the state Legislature.

It will be interesting to see if the CPOA shows up at the Democrat's "open forum" to express their point of view and how they are treated.
open or closed minded, you will need a magnifying glass to find any mind!
Is this blame game really any different than Bill Clinton recently proclaiming that it was acceptable that Senator Byrd was a long time KKK leader who recruited hundreds of new KKK members because as Clinton put it, he was from West Virginia and did it just to get elected to office.
This is the same Democratic Senator who said he would rather die a thousand deaths than fight under our flag next to a negro, but Bill Clinton worships him as one of the greatest Democrats who ever lived!
Makes me wonder how any black person could ever be a Democrat, especially since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was a Republican for this same reason.
Hey Frank, do you have the exact quote from John Geragosian from that meeting? Thanks!
TonY Kane: Here is your answer:
But when it came time for the membership to present their questions to him he avoided answering directly but kept referring to his state issues in his presentation. When asked why the state delagation made state funding available for schools in Waterbury, Hartford, New Haven, & New London but nothing for New Britain, his answer was simply that the other towns had “more problems“.
