The teachers and their ledership ate to blame. When the leadership of the union are retirees they have NO INTEREST in the school district. Every teacher thatvoted for President Barker and her crew shhould habg their head in shame.
The only reason the Democrats even care is out of loyalty to the unions.
It is clear that the Democrats on the council and the Board of Ed couldn't care less about the welfare of the students. If they did, we would be looking at ways to provide vouchers to allow the parents to choose which school their child attends, instead of some bureaucrat determining where the child must go for the benefit of a labor union.
Republicans truly are the party of the people while the Democrats are socialist gulag puppets of the unions.

only 112? they won't even be missed!
With 827 teachers and 10,000 students (their numbers) that raises the student to teacher ratio to a whopping 12.09 students per teacher.
Then when you figure in the 35% normal absentee rate, you end up with an average of 7.8 students per class room on a given day.
I guess the sky really isn't falling, is it?
C'est la vie! That's what you get when you sell yourself to the infamous and greedy union bosses.
unions are destroying this country
The math still only works our to 8 students per teacher using the board's own numbers.
Simple solutions from SIMPLE minds
Maybe the person that uses simple math should be hire to do the scgeduling for the school system.
you mean the unions are lying to us when they claim the sky is falling?
We are all slaves to the union.
Maybe the person that uses simple math should be hire to do the scgeduling for the school system.
maybe the person using the simple math can tell when he is being lied to by socialists?
