Here's a novel idea. Instead of continuing to be a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, why not try publishing news that mainstream America wants to read?

According to the latest national polls, only about 20% of Americans identify with being a liberal, so by the New Britain Herald continuing to be little more than Little Mack's propaganda machine, they are only appealing to about 20% of the population.

Here's a real imaginative idea for Editor Smith, try publishing more than glowing raves about a radical like Tim O'Brien for being the best thing since sliced bread simply because he bothered to show up for work.

Instead try reporting the truth, like the fact that it is because of radical extremists like Mr. O'Brien that the state is in such horrible financial condition.

Then maybe you will sell a few papers, until then, maybe you need to get the phone number of the Mexican who bailed out the New York Times at 14% interest.

The way Smith runs the Herald, it makes Pravda look conservative.

The best way to respond to their brand of left wing news is to not read it at all.

Don't even read the Herald online, because you will be helping increase their online advertising with every hit.

If enough of us say no to buying this paper, we can all soon rejoice when they lock their doors forever!

The Hartford Courant was handing out free copies at the last St. Patrick's Day Parade and nobody wanted them. I however did take a copy and promptly put it where it belongs; under my tush to keep it dry, as it was raining that day.
