It is certainly unfortunate that the city lost tax revenue over the past several years however, with a private investor considering improving upon it, let's be grateful Mayor Stewart was able to bring this to an end and move in a forward direction.

Thanks again Tim for have the experience needed as Mayor of the City of New Britain.

This looks like a sweetheart deal...a gift from above.
Hopefully the entire council will go along with this.

You can expect the council to vote this deal down no matter how good it is for the city.

How would it look for an elitist like Sherwood to allow the mayor to accomplish something positive for the city?

Does the city plan on doing anything about the former Israel Putnam School on Osgood Avenue? It has been available for sale for several years, to no avail.
It is a virtual eyesore that has been ravaged by fire inside the building, and unkempt landscaping.
No amount of renovating will ever improve the building; it should be demolished. Undoubtedly the residents in the immediate area would be ecstatic!! I know I would be.
