Of all the many positive comments Linda made to the audience, one was the most outstanding with her referring to a reporter's comments to her just a few days earlier: " You don't have the right political experience to run for the Senate," the reporter told her. Her reply was quick and swift by citing that her campaign is what is needed to get the same old politics out of Washington.

Linda McMahon, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Connecticut, stated that she will limit herself to two terms if she is elected on November 2, 2010.
McMahon, who is in a close race with Democratic Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, reported that she would not seek more than two terms and would not run for a second term unless she believes she had been effective in her first six-year term as U.S. Senator.
Every time you see a TV campaign advertisement for Linda McMahon on your television set, TV studio people are being paid, camera operators being paid, producers being paid, directors being paid and television station workers being paid.
When we receive printed campaign literature in the mail, CT printers are being paid. And, they are all being paid by Linda McMahon.
When you see a AG Blumenthal campaign ad, it's being paid by you and me, the Connecticut taxpayers
You raise a good point, because the left demonizes how much money that Linda is spending, but there are 2 things to keep in mind:
1. That money is going to Connecticut businesses (television stations, newspapers, printers, etc).
2. Linda is spending her own money, while Blumenthal chose to spend taxpayer money on his campaign even though he is probably as rich as Linda (his wife and her family are multi billiounaires even owning the Empire State Building) but like most Democrats, Blumenthal believes the taxpayers should pay for everything, so he is not spending a dime of his own money--YOU ARE PAYING FOR HIS CAMPAIGN!
More proof that Linda can create jobs!!!!
Blumenthal has a long history of destroying jobs and suing businesses out of existence. Doesn't that count for something?
Linda McMahon has played up her story as a comeback entrepreneur, a plucky and independent businesswoman who rose from bankruptcy three decades ago to run a publicly traded corporation that created 600 jobs. Linda stated she would seek to block tax increases and would oppose cap-and-trade climate legislation.
In the televised debate last week in Hartford, she said she would go to Washington and shake things up. Government. Government. Government, McMahon declared, nearly spitting out the words. Government does not create jobs...does not create jobs. AG Blumenthal seemed to be rocked on his heels by the assault...Government does not create jobs.
In January, AG Blumenthal was a 41-point favorite to beat McMahon. Since then, Linda has attracted huge amounts of publicity through out the state of Connecticut and the Nation in her campaigning that Government does not create jobs and how Mr. AG Blumenthal does one create jobs?. .
Blumenthal clearly believes that government is the answer for all that ails us.
Blumenthal clearly wasn't listening when Ronald Reagan said that government is not the answer, government is the problem.
You can sum it up as simple as this:
A vote for Blumenthal is a vote for Obama and his failed policies.
Blumenthal himslef is runnning a campaign ad where he promises to force through cap & tax bill, forcing gasoline prices up to as high as $10 a gallon.
Liberals embrace this idea because you will use less oil and pollute their air less. Obama himself said that part of his cap & tax bill would be to intentionally and drastically raise fuel costs.
If you like the idea of paying $8 to $10 a gallon like in Europe, then vote for a socialist like Blumenthal, but then don't complain when you get what you asked for!
The only thing Blumenthal has accomplished in 20 years as AG is to drive businesses out of the state, that is the ones he didn't put out of business with his frivolous law suits. How do you think he earned the title of worst attorney general in America for 2007?
Anyone who still has trouble figuring out Mr. Blumenthal should have listened to him stutter when he was interviewed on TV by Glen Beck a while back. Blumenthal was crowing that he wanted to indict the Connecticut AIG employees who had received those controversial bonuses.
Glen Beck asked Mr. Blumenthal, over and over again what laws the Connecticut AIG employees had broken; just exactly what statute they could be charged with under the laws. Mr.Blumenthal mumbled, ducked, and weaved and never did answer what laws had been broken by these Connecticut AIG employees.
We refuse to believe that the citizens of Connecticut ,who forced Senator Chris Dodd out of office, would accept Dick Blumenthal as his replacement. Dick B is a clone and we are changing names only. We can't believe with all the change going on in the country that state of Connecticut is leaning toward a Liberal Democratic Senator, Democratic Governor and Democratic Legislature. Lets go to Calfiornia. Where is the "Scott Brown" in Connecticut that defeated Ted Kennedy's seat in the state of Massachusetts?
The voters of CT, whether they are women, union members or young adults, have nothing to fear with Linda McMahon . She will work for you to get the economy and jobs flowing again and stem the tide of foreclosures, bankruptcies and fraudulent government dealing.
Where do we (VFW) stand with Senator Dick Blumenthal?
When contacted by phone by a political pollster, we VFW Veterans when asked what candidate we would vote for on November 2nd for Senator ( Richard Blumenthal - Linda McMahon ) .
The VFW Veterans in the loop stated that we would cast our vote for the Dick Blumenthal ticket to mess up the reported Blumenthal tallied pollster numbers - when in fact on Nov. 2nd our VFW combat vote would be casted for U.S. Senator Linda .
