Just read the article in the NB Herald about trying to curb vandalism at the Chestnut St. garage.
Tell me what the phrase that the City's DIRECTOR of PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is quoted as saying, "We need to get the best bang for the buck" ?
Does this come out of the mouth of a high salaried city employee ? A Director no less.

And FYI the city has proposed this as part of the garage renovation bond that was approved by the City a couple of years ago not because of the recent parking garage activity their!

The vandalism at the Chestnut Street parking garage is one extremely good reason for the new Police Station to be built where it is...not to mention the fact the seniors living in the Chestnut Street apartments adjoining the new police station might very well feel much safer there.
