APPEARS FOLEY WILL BE OUR NEXT GOVERNOR: The Courant

The Hartford Courant is reporting that the Associated Press has done their own vote count in the Connecticut Governor's race and has now withdrawn their earlier declaration that Malloy was the winner. According to the Courant story, the Associated Press vote count shows Foley leading Malloy by 8424 votes!

Maybe this will start a new trend...have a neutral party count all the ballots, including absentee ballots, as well as extra ballots that had to be printed due to the election committee's lack of knowledge of more voters showing up than usual. Who knows what other candidates actually won? Maybe the Courant will come up with winners who thought they were losers.
Praises to the Courant!!

you mean you don't trust Susan Byciewicz to count the votes correctly?

I swear I do not practice law in Connecticut before I swear that I have practiced law in Connecticut for at least 10 years?

Susan Byciewicz pronounced Malloy the winner way to early...she should have waited until all the ballots were in. Foley is correct in not conceding at this point...the tally continues to fluctuate between the two.
As of Thursday at 6:00 p.m. on Channel 3 news, Bridgeport hasn't even begun counting the ballots. A city as large as Bridgeport can make a big difference on who will be officially announced Governor.
