Rep. John C Geragosian is planning to quit his state Representative position to become a state auditor.
No wonder the Council's Majority Leader, Alderman Phil Sherwood,is already campaigning for the state Representative's seat.
He does have a wild ego.

Maybe the Herald was afraid their paper would be used for an appropriate use like fire place starters! ROFL ROFL
Having a fellow radical liberal as an auditor with these socialists in power in the legislature would be like having the fox guard the chicken coop.
KOREAN WAR VETERANS - Just three days after a botched Election Day in Bridgeport, with the results of the gubernatorial race still uncertain, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz opted out of a press conference in order to handle a task outside her job description -- honoring Korean War veterans in Montville.
That awards ceremony, according to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information request, was just one of 57 such events Bysiewicz and staff organized between Aug. 30 and Dec. 13. Two of those were to wrap up her three-year initiative to recognize World War II veterans.
"The bottom line is the secretary of the state is entrusted first and foremost with being our chief elections officer and making sure our election is held correctly and is run smoothly," state Senate Minority Leader John McKinney, R-Fairfield said.

Just who is entrusted with honoring the Korean Vets? They somehow got sidetracked between the WWII Vets and the VietNam vets. Kudoos to Secretary of State for doing so..
In the Administration of Gov. Elect Malloy some of the Legislative appointees are Sen. Andrew McDonald (D) Stamford, who will be Malloy's senior adviser and general counsel; Sen. Donald DeFronzo (D) New Britain, who was appointed commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services; Rep. David McCluskey (D) West Hartford, who will join the Board of Pardons and Paroles; and Rep. Mike Lawlor (D) East Haven, who will be undersecretary for Criminal Justice Policy and Planning.
Rumor has it that Sherwood and his wife are separated, that she's moving back to New Hampshire...any truth to this rumor?

If that's the case it looks like she finally got wise. They have a child or two together, no? Which means that Sherwood would likely follow to be close to the kids. Sherwood's loss would be a gain not only to his wife, but to NB.

I know many people who would gladly contribute to his moving expenses back to New Hampshire so long as he promises never to return.
