OUR VIEW: Throwing the busway away for a pipe dream - The Bristol Press (bristolpress.com)

Let's not forget that former Senator DeFronzo was for making this busway disappear in exchange for the same pipe dream of a rail system--apparently dancing to the strings of the Nicastro brothers like a puppet.

Until he left the Senate for his newly created 6 figure state salary in the Dan Malloy administration, Senator DeFronzo was very outspoken on his efforts to derail the busway in the legislature? Remember DeFronzo's actions to work so hard for Bristol had many wondering who he was really elected to represent, especially since Bristol was not even in his district and the busway DeFronzo was so in favor of killing benefited New Britain the most?

Now he's abandoned the Senate seat he just ran for, and abandoned the people of his district to take a cushy appointment in the Malloy Administration where he will benefit personally an estimated $1.4 million at the direct cost of the taxpayers.

Now another career public pension builder appears on the scene looking to expand her own state pension by getting elected to DeFronzo's recently abandoned seat.

Could you really blame her for wanting to get a piece of that public pie after seeing DeFronzo able to line his own pockets so generously at the expense of the people?

Now that's what I call being true Democrats!
