Frank,

Alderman Trueworthy can take as along as 30 minutes or more to understand a simple resolution! Transition to the Mayors seat could take months if not till the next election! The dems should know this. Anything else would be completely irresponsible.

As far as no bid contracts to our other alderman, I think they should take legal action against the dems for slander and defamation! The facts were there all along and there was no wrong doing. Its amazing what desperation can do to people.

Keep up the good work Tim, Mark, and Willie and Good Luck.

If Tim Stewart would stay in his job as Mayor until next November, he is doing nothing illegal. Di it Tim! Is it better to leave Trueworthy in charge?

Can you imagine the staff changes; Trueworthy would bring in Pudlin, Lopes, Gerratana and even Sherwood; they might even resurrect Suzanne "Giggles" Bielinski. Majority Dems would appoint another lefty to fill Trueworthy's aldermanic seat and elect one of their majority to the position as Mayor Pro Tem. Heavens!

John McNamara has some nerve to speak of holding on to power. Trueworthy can't wait to take over when the Mayor does leave. Lord only knows who he would ask to be his office staff. And don't forget Trueworthy's attempt in the past to usurp auditing responsibilities of the city that ended up cost the city dearly in terms of dollars. Lord only knows what other "power grabs" he might pull.

I believe Stewart should follow the example of Mr. Miller of Essex who plans to stay in both positions. He is capable of doing both well.

At this time, to whose allegiance do Stewart or Gerratans pledge? Gerratana could pledge her allegiance to Zeus right now becuase she's not involved in anything regarding New Britain.

In case anybody has forgotten, New Britain is in the middle of its annual budget process, building a new Police Station and other very important aspects of the lives of the people of New Britain. Would anybody want to see those responsibilities turned over to John McNamara and Mike Trueworthy? Certainly, don't count me in on that idea!

Stay where you are Mayor Stewart, until you are good and ready to do otherwise.
