Former Governor Rowland said today on his radio show that they are absolutely out of their minds planning on spending this money for a bunch of buses to run between New Britain and Hartford.

Rowland who use his connections for his own personnel interest, thinking he was above the law. Of course he has no interest in the development of both cities, the is no profit for him.

By the way, he is the Economic Development Director for the City of Waterbury, and he said it was even more asinine that Danno Malloy plans to borrow over $1 million to study the need for a busway from Waterbury to Bristol, so you apparently wrong about Governor Rowland's motives. Perhaps he simply understands a total and ridiculous waste of our money when he sees it!

Just what kind of an idiot is Danny boy. A 3.5 BILLION dollar deficit, and he wants to build a 9 mile busway to benefit what, 30 people a day. This is nothing but a sweetheart deal between Danny and his bed mates, the State Employees Unions, the purpose of which is meant only as a suck up way to offset any concessions they may give.

I just simply cannot picture this busway as anything more than a total waste of taxpayer dollars.

With the problems this state has, I fully expected DM to halt the project, but no, just spend on...

Actually, Rowland went on to say that the number of people who would ride this thing he could drive them in his car and could do it for a lot less than $580 million!
