Connecticut courts rarely sentence someone to as long as 15 years for killing someone!

This guy would have most likely received probation in CT.

This liberal loon has demonstrated he in unable to learn from history or he wouldn't be pushing his brand of socialist redistribution upon the people.

By Texas standards, 15 years is a short sentence for drug possession. At least 25 years in prison in normal. He must have had a liberal for a judge!

Dave Blount, assistant district attorney with the Randall County District Attorney's office, said the jury found George Washington, 47, guilty and sentenced him to 60 years in prison.

Washington was arrested Oct. 17, 2006, after leading authorities on a high-speed chase that ended at the Wal-Mart on Interstate 27 and Georgia Street, Blount said. The vehicle chase ended on the I-27 overpass above Georgia Street when Washington hit another vehicle head-on.

Police apprehended Washington in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

The driver of the other car was Amy Crandall, who suffered a broken ankle, Blount said.

NORTH CAROLINA IS EVEN BETTER!

14 YEAR OLD SENTENCED TO 160 YEARS IN PRISON FOR STRING OF NON-VIOLENT PROPERTY CRIMES!

Derek Twyman was 14-years-old when he and his family moved from the province of Ontario to the state of North Carolina. His father, Donald, had plans to start a furniture business there, and the family was going to build a future for themselves in the south. Unfortunately, shortly after moving to the U.S., Derek fell in with the wrong crowd and got caught up in a lifestyle that included a tendency to participate in acts of juvenile delinquency.

In 1989 he was on parole when he was picked up by the police in connection with a series of break-and-enters of homes belonging to affluent residents in North Carolina. Derek plead guilty to the offenses he was accused of, but was shown little mercy by Judge Thomas W. Ross, who sentenced him to four consecutive 40-year sentences in prison – an astonishing total of 160 years behind bars for non-violent property offenses.

VIRGINIA: 100 years for soliciting sex over the internet:

A Louisa County judge today sentenced a Henrico County man to 100 years in prison for five counts of soliciting sex from a child younger than 15 over the Internet.

Circuit Judge Timothy K. Sanner imposed the jury's recommended sentence against George H. Spiker Jr., 55. The jury convicted Spiker in January.

According to prosecutors, Spiker entered Yahoo chat rooms in January and February of 2009 and later drove to meet someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl.

During the often-explicit chats, Spiker offered the girl clothing, jewelry and money for college, while aggressively soliciting her for sex acts, prosecutors said. He used a webcam to expose himself before arranging to meet on Feb. 19, 2009.

Authorities arrested him when he went to meet the girl.
