Socialism has failed anywhere in the world it has ever been attempted and no matter how much they try to make it sound nice, it will fail here too!

Margaret Thatcher said it best:

"The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money to spend"

Comrade Dan will soon run out too!

Double standard Connecticut lawmakers and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy believe it's proper to make tax rates enacted this spring retroactive to Jan. 1. No argument here — Connecticut voters had their eyes wide open when they elected these people last fall, knowing they would tax to the max. But what about other zones of retroactivity? For example, does the marijuana-decriminalization law, passed amid much backslapping by social liberals this week, entitle past offenders to be compensated for fines, legal fees and even jail time that Gov. Malloy, Lt. Gov. Nancy S. Wyman and the majority of legislators believe were excessive? Or does the brave new world of retroactivity only apply to the government class?

Tom Foley would have been Governor if that First Selectman of Chester, Ct. hadn't run and be the spoiler with our winding up with Malloy.

That must burn Foley's but that he lost to someone who didn't even get half the vote, or you could simply say that not even half the voters wanted this Dictator for Governor?
