They are rejecting it because they are rejecting being forced into socialized medicine (Sustinet) which is as John Rowland describes it as Obamacare on steroids.

I believe that this entire Sustinet B.S. is being pushed by Obamaa's, I mean O'Brien's radical extremist wife.

I don't see any private sector employees agreeing to being forced to submit to annual physicals and any and all further tests that the health care provider orders (dictates), whether you want them or not no matter how invasive they may be. The freedom of choice is no longer yours unless you want to pay a $1,850 fine for refusing to submit.

For example this plan mandates that every single state employee must go to the dentist twice per year, and receive regular colonoscopies whether you want to or not, and whether you are even at high risk for cancer.

This plan literally removes any and all decision making over personal health care and puts it in the hands of state bureaucrats. In other words, it has the potential for becoming totally socialized medicine for state employees.

Show me a private sector employee who has turned over the total control of their health care decisions to the government (or their employer for that matter), and then I will believe we have a deal comparable to the private sector.

Any state employee who willingly goes into this socialized medicine deserves the hose he is about to get up his rear end.

Perhaps someone could explain it to me like I am a 2 year old, but why if Dsnno so anxious to look up my butt?

I'm sure it's not a pretty sight!

We are entering a very dangerous territory where government agents may force you to undergo medical treatments whether you want them or not, under threat of a $1,850 annual fine for failing to comply with the health care dictator's demands, no matter what they may be.

Once we take away the right to make your own health care decisions from state employees, retirees, and their families, which group will be next?

It is hard to understand how the civil rights organizations could sit quietly while this happens, but it must be because it is a radical liberal governor doing it. If it were a Republican trying to strip a segment of the community of such a basic right as deciding your own health care decisions without severe state penalties, they would be coming out of the woodwork to protest, but Democrats can do anything they want without so much as a whimper out of groups that supposedly exist to protect us from such blatant violations of our basic civil rights.

If you can't be free to decide who can shove an instrument up your rear end without severe penalies imposed by the state, what freedoms or rights do you have left?

The only part i really have a problem with is the value based HC i do not want anyone telling me when and what to do with my health. I agree i should make my own decisions and the penalty you have to do it. The state will have all your medical records. What of the privacy act. This is insane.
