WHAT THE WORKING FAMILIES PARTY STANDS FOR---PROGRESSIVE & SOCIALIST LEANINGS

Jon Green: Chairman of the Working Families Party is an independent, grassroots party dedicated to electing progressives and standing up for the needs of ordinary working class families whose voices are so often overlooked in politics. For us, this first-of-its-kind win is really a proud moment.
If you get paid sick days, it’s easy enough to take them for granted. But today in Connecticut, there are hundreds of thousands of low-wage service workers, mostly women, without paid sick days. For those workers, a child’s doctor’s appointment can mean losing pay and a bad flu can cost you your job. We can do better than that.
Especially in difficult times like these, it’s not right to make people choose between their health and their job, or between being a good parent and a good employee. When this legislation takes effect in January, hundreds of thousands of low-wage service workers will enjoy this basic protection.
It’s the first statewide paid sick days bill in the nation, and something Connecticut can be enormously proud of.

Proud of watching businesses leave is about all!

The way I have explained it to the loons who support this is, if a company is going to relocate to the north east they simply won't come to ct because there cost of doing business here will be a minimum of $25,000.00 more just because of this communist bill!

It will take a little time but the consequences will be devastating!

Amazon is just the beginning!

Gov. Malloy was very proud to accept the Wroking Families Party Endorsement.

Alderman Catanzaaro also accepted the Woring Families endorsement along with his Democratic socialist on New Britain's city council.

Is it possible that Catanzaro is a closet socialist and O'Brien is a Communist? Really scary!

The Republicans MUST reach out to the Democrats in town and explain these facts. Most of the good Dems that I know are not liberal loons. They need to be informed and who else will do it? The press? I think not.

In a free enterprise system like we have here in America, it is absolutely none of the state's business how an employer treats its employees. That is a private matter between employer and employee.

The market dictates how an employer needs to act to attract and keep quality employees. If your services are valuable enough, the employer will pay what he needs to, complete with the benefits it takes, to retain you for the good of his business.

What these communists are seeking to do is mandate that the private sector pay everyone the same and provide everyone the same benefits whether they deserve it or not. When these wackos get done engineering this state, you will have private non-union employees who are guaranteed their jobs for life whether they do their job or not, much like the way union employees may never be fired no matter what they may or may not do.

This is a dangerous experiment for a state that is teetering on bankruptcy to be forcing masses of employers to flee socialism by fleeing this radical out of control socialist state.

You may even see the unemployment numbers here in Connecticut surpass Michigan, another state totally destroyed by Democrats, with their 25% unemployment rate for the state and 55% unemployment rate in Detroit.

According to new Quinnipiac poll, 72% of Connecticut residents are apparently Communists:

30. As you may know, Connecticut will have a new law that requires large companies to offer five days of paid sick leave to service workers. Do you support or oppose this new law?

Support: 72%
Oppose: 26%

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1296.xml?ReleaseID=1612

In fact, 50% of Republicans polled support this law. Half of Republicans in Connecticut are actually Communists!

Guys, maybe we should re-evaluate our strategy of hysterical shrieking about Communism. It doesn't appear to be working.
