Lowell Weicker's state income tax has clearly proven to be a disaster for the state of Connecticut.

First of all, the Council didn't table anything last night, they simply refused to take the issue off the table. The Council Democrats didn't like the positive attitude toward the project displayed by most people at the June 30th meeting so the Don DeFronzo (anti) Dems are going to go out and round up more no votes for the next session. If that doesn't work, they'll say they need another session, ad infinitum until Sue Holt gets sick of saying she speaks for everyone, even the East Side NRZ.

One speaker last night said it all, "... I'd rather look at an abandoned building." Go for it folks! All of you why can't we, why don't they folks, remember, no developer is in the business to lose money.

By the way and to The Herald, the Aquinas proposal wasn't put on the table, it was left there; once again it was decided unilaterally by the NB Council Democrat's.

So, why not just do what you want right now with the Aquinas proposal - Council Democrat's? Take the issue off the table and vote on it. Stop wasting everyone's time. How many votes for reelection can you milk out of this issue - Council Democrat's?
