" Thank you to The Herald for another fine editorial on this subject. While the Herald is accused by the commenters of theorizing, the commenters do the same thing.
The City of NB has an excellent cadre of lawyers, as good at their craft as any in the AG's office. We in NB don't need the AG "theorizing" for us when not one of them has lived or worked in this town. All of a sudden the commenters have also become lawyers. The last thing we need for the "uninitiated" to read an 80+ yr. old deed and having thousands of opinions as to what Alix was thinking. To give an example, the ornithology professor from West Hartford and CCSU spoke at the Council meeting; what we heard was a reading of her Vita and resume. Enough of that and the "hauntingly beautiful song" of the Wood Thrush. As a birdwatcher myself, I prefer the repertoire of the Mockingbird.
Probably, TimeforPlanB made the most cogent suggestion. In any case, I BELIEVE IT'S TIME FOR A VOTE ON THIS SUBJECT AS WELL AS THE AQUINAS PROPOSAL.
On one hand you have those looking for, perfection while on the other those mostly concerned with the general welfare of NB citizens/taxpayers. If anyone refuses to have anything but perfection the general welfare can never be achieved. Think about it. "

PLAN B - is the Plan for the Costco deal at the junction of Route 71 and Route 9 in New Britain, allowing the Costco to utilize the locked in section of land located in the town of Newington CT that will generate property tax's for both New Britain and Newington.

Only one store located on Route 71 in NEW BRITAIN can advertise LOW GROCERY PRICES FOR ALL - EXPECT MORE PAY LESS - 5% OFF TODAY & EVERY DAY !

That store is TARGET ! Since Target is located in the town of New Britain, Target is not bound to the West Farms Association rules and regulations that do not allow super markets to be located in the West Farm complex !

If Costco store is built on land rezoned from residential to commercial use in both the towns of New Britain and tree- line section of Newington; then Costco will operate as independent super market free of West Farms Association rules and regulations.
