Paul supports " Strong economic development will grow the grand list and increase revenues without raising property tax rates."
Yes Paul are you attempting buffalo the voters for their having short memories?
Didn't you vote against the Saint Thomas Aquinas proposal that would have brought in income to the city?
And again didn't you vote for more information, regarding the Costco proposal, along with you Democratic Comrades after you publicly stated that you would support the pan "B" version?
Get your story straight so the voters can vote for you in the upcoming primary!

Perhaps Catanzaro should look into how the current Department of Municipal Development evolved from what it used to be. Under whose supervision is the City Plan Department? What happened to the Redevelopment Department? Also, what is Bill Carroll's position?
Catanzaro was also part of chasing a potential developer interested in developer of Pinnacle Heights out of town - remember "Where's the beef? - as well as picketing WalMart and chasing them out of town.
C'mon Paul, get it right.
Didn't Paul attend the radical protests in front of Walmart the ended up running them and their 150 jobs out of New Britain?
While the Working Families Party can offer favored candidates a boost in general elections--its endorsement puts their names on two ballot lines--its ranks include union members and other activists who can swing a Democratic primary.
Sitting at long table at the Polish Hall in Hartford CT, while waiting for their chance to impress the audience, were three Democratic candidates for the U.S. Senate nomination: former Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz, U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy and state Rep. William Tong.
Seated In the audience was state Rep. Tim O'Brien, who is competing in a Democratic primary for the mayoral nomination in New Britain. With only weeks to his primary, O'Brien took a break from campaigning in New Britain to stop by and chat with Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra's current campaign manager Phil S ?
While the Tea Party is ascendant elsewhere, comprising a decisive conservative voting bloc in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Working Families Party has established itself as a political player in blue state of Connecticut.
I like Paul C. and urge Democratic voters here in NB to get out and vote for him in the Democratic primary. Paul is a native son. With roots here in New Britain he is by far the best candidate!
I guess that last poster doesn't like the idea of having a carpetbagger from Manchester for mayor--especially a phony who claims to care deeply about our school system while he and his wife send his stepson to an out of town school.
What a candidate! People who support him have to hide behind an anonymous tag as if they are ashamed to have anyone know they support him:

I am a Republican Because...
I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.
I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.
I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
You know how to tell if a Demcorap is lying?
Just check to see if his lips are moving!

Political/public service: I served for five years as a member of the New Britain Common Council and more than eight years as the State Representative from the 24th Assembly District.
Family Information: I am married to my lovely wife, Rhona, and we have two children – my stepson, Eoin,
and our daughter, Olivia.
Occupation/Employment: I currently commit full-time to my responsibilities as a state legislator.
Educational Background: I attended CCSU.
KEY ISSUES:
Improving education opportunities for New Britain's kids by accepting more of the inter- district magnet school funding that the state provides to cities like ours and improving City Hall's commitment to our local schools.
Holding homeowner property taxes down while improving neighborhood quality of life by strongly enforcing anti-blight laws to hold wealthy slumlords and abandoned building owners accountable and charging them for what they cost our city.
Creating good paying jobs by enforcing and strengthening our living wage ordinance, by rebuilding neighborhoods and by finally creating a good plan for New Britain's economic future.

“The message that we brought to our city two years ago, in my 2009 campaign for Mayor, rang strong with the people – a message of hope for what we can achieve together and a refreshing change from the old politics that has held New Britain back.
I have worked over the years to improve things for the people of our city. In my five years on the City Council, I won approval of one of the first living wage ordinances in the state, strong anti-blight ordinances and greater democracy through district representation on the City Council.
As a state legislator, I have won fought for and won victories for working people, education, property tax relief and historic pro-democracy campaign finance reform. As important and successful as my work as a state legislator is, there are many things holding our city back – like improving kids' education, creating jobs and improving neighborhood quality of life – things that need action here at home.
That is why I am running for Mayor.”
Tim, your message rang so strong with the voters that you lost the election!
What a tool.
Catanzaro should watch his back; rumor has it that one of his major supporters is busy raisng money, et., for O'Brien.
