O'Brien has made too many false claims citing that he is for tax reform but voted to reduce property tax reduction.
Also voted for the increase to the Ct. sales tax on clothing and food that hurting the very poor he claims that he is helping.
Claimed to be an advocate for job creation----And was quoted in a local newspaper that he opposes the Costco Store which would bring the city new taxable income and much needed jobs.
He also opposed the sale to Saint Thomas Aginas School. More added income to the City he opposed
These two proposals would have enhanced the financial condition for our city.

friends don't let friends vote for Democrats
Being a Republican, I can't vote in Tuesday's primary. If I could, I'd vote for Catanzaro.
If you shake hands with O'Brien, don't forget to wash the slime off your hands!
NEW BRITAIN — In a landslide, New Britain Sate Rep. Timothy O’Brien (24th District) defeated Assistant Majority Leader Paul Catanzaro in Tuesday’s mayoral primary by 1776 to 752, the Gaffney voting district was not tabulated by press time.
With his wife Rhona by his side and surrounded by 75 cheering supporters at his headquarters at the Whinstone Tavern at Stanley Golf Course, O’Brien thanked his supporters.
This is a big win for us, said House Speaker Chris Donovan, who is running for Congress and who spent most of the evening with the O'Brien campaign staff.
