Which one was missing of the gang of 12?

They should do community service for Mark Bernacki's Warm the Children, an organization that actually helps kids instead of causing a dangerous headache and traffic for Connecticut workers.

THE ONLY PEOPLE THIS GROUP SEEMS TO BE INTERESTED IN HELPING IS THEMSELVES.

Isn't community service only supposed to be a one time deal? Don't I recall reading that Tom Swan did community service when he was arrested along side State Representative Tercyak of Hartford?

Rhona is a socialist who wants redistribution of what others have earned through hard work, and she sees forceful government as the hammer that pounds this nail. Her husband Tim O'Brien believes the same things, and you can see it in his 252 failed bills in the legislature, in addition to his "living wage" ordinance proposed years ago.

Capitalism is not a perfect system, but it's the best system we have. Rhona and Tim reject this, and it's unfortunate, because it has helped make America great through our restless spirit, continual wants for improvement, and entrepreneurialism of it's citizens.

Tim O'Brien has proposed 252 bills in 9 years as a legislator. 0 passed. Just exactly who has Tim O'Brien been standing up for. Tim and his wife Rhona are opportunists who are out to feather their nest and haven't done anything for anyone other than themselves.

The Republican Mayor defeated O'Brien two years ago, and chose not to run again. This was not a referendum on Mayor Stewart, it was a vote for a new mayor. By the way, O'Brien probably wouldn't have won the election, but the DTC hired Working Families' Party members to go door to door on election day, enticing people into their vans with offers of free food, etc.

Protesters To Perform Community Service.

Before the 12 protesters agreed to be arrested, they went through training exercise to know what to expect from the police, said Tom Swan, Executive Director of the Connecticut Citizen Action Group (CCAG) , who was among those arrested.

Arrested with Swan, were Renae Reese, Director of the Connecticut Center For a New Economy and Rhona Cohen, a member of the nonprofit Connecticut Center For a New Economy. Swan said that 40 more people were eager to volunteer to be arrested, but that hadn't received training. The sit-in on the Interstate-84 ramp in Hartford was sponsored by the Connecticut Action Alliance for a Fair Economy.

Frank:
In today's Herald (11/23/11), Marie Lausch (NBPD dispatcher) defends Mayor O'Brien's wife (Rhona Cohen O'Brien) who was arrested recently in Hartford at an "Occupy" sit in. Marie says that Cohen's action is an example of civil disobedience. What is Lausch thinking?

What is the nature of the "wrong" against which Cohen is protesting that will be solved by sitting down on and blocking an exit ramp of a major highway and then asking to be arrested? Lausch is defending stupidity, pure and simple.

Little more than a bunch of America hating malcontents!

It was a hectic week for Tim O'Brien and his wife, Rhona Cohen. He became became mayor, and his wife got arrested. The Connecticut Center for a New Economy lists Cohen as a staff member since year 2007. The nonprofit organization in Hartford describes itself as an anti-poverty group dedicated to helping working families. O'Brien had six words to say to reporters about the arrest, "My wife is her own person," he said, declining to discuss his opinion about the protest.

The New York "Occupy Wall Street" movement, the Hartford sit in folks on " I-84 ramp" were triggered by the high rate of unemployment and foreclosures; as well as the growing perception that big banks and corporations are not paying their fair share of taxes, yet are taking in huge bonuses while most Americans have seen their incomes drop and lack of jobs..

This poor guy, mayor of New Britain. His wife gets arrested for risking lives by blocking highway traffic during rush hour and now they are literally stealing city hall in NB from under him, the copper rain gutters are being stolen.
