During yesterday's program Rowland was joined by former Senator Thomas Bozek who claimed that the busway was designed to include low rent housing at all the bus stations wherever they are located in towns such as West Hartford, Newington, and including the Elmwood section of West Hartford.
Upon hearing this Rowland seemed astonished of this new revelation.
Could have the Malloy Administration placed this new revelation into its legislation?

That's a great idea! Spread it out a little bit. We can't keep it all here.
I heard that show, and Bozek was saying he couldn't wait until those rich people in West Hartford find out they are about to get low rent housing projects in their neighborhoods.
The old Charter Oak Terrace is coming to a nice neighborhood near you!
The Democrats will be overjoyed once they have converted the neighborhoods along the busway into something that resembles the South Bronx.
The man is delusional. Everything with him is about low income housing. Sounds like a pretty racist thing to say. Having the ability to redevelop significant tracts of land adjacent to the busway will allow NB to get rid of the section 8 housing surrounding the eastside. New housing development does not mandate low income housing unless the money being used is for that specific purpose.
How is it delusional to not want slums in your neighborhood?
I guess Democrats think it brings a boost to any neighborhood to have junkies shooting up in every doorway.
Why else would they be pushing so hard to turn St. Thomas into a homeless shelter?
What are your personal thoughts on this issue Frank? Do you agree with Bozek and stand against this travesty that they are going to foist on all of us along the bus line?
