To the commenter above: At what level of "whelming" were you with O'Brien?

At what level will you be if Lopes, Trueworthy or Saavedra should win ???

It's all bad.

I think Peter Steele will make a fine state representative. I am worried about leadership in our republican party however...I am worried that under Dwight Blint the party organization seems to have got a bit smaller and less active. Even if I'm wrong, the win to loss margin is pathetic. We need NEW BLOOD to energy our conservative voters that are out there.

It's true. Dwight Blint took over for Paul Carver and one would think some new blood would have energized the conservative side of things but the opposite has taken place. The far left liberals know how to draw the vote. Their votes are not made with knowledge so you have the uneducated least prepared voters making decisions for the educated. It is terribly backwards here in New Britain.

If the only way to rid the city council of Mr. Trueworthy is to send him to, the state legislature, then so be it. As for Lopes, the crooked unions already have him and Sherwood running the mayor's office by pulling the strings of their puppet Mayor O'brien.
