O'Brien's vacant Legislative Seat is up for Grabs

The 24th. House District has three candidates vying for this vacant Seat.

Peter Steele [ R ] Former state Senator Thomas Bozek [ Petition candidate ] and Rick Lopes aka Lopez
[D ].

It is quite apparent that the former Senator is downgrading his political status with his running for the legislative seat.

Once again, former State Sen. Don DeFronzo continues to promote dirty tricks expert, Rick Lopes for the vacated State House seat of Mayor O'Brien.

Lopes was the alleged mastermind or the nasty e-mails criticizing Mayor Stewart, e-mails sent from State computers for which Greg Gerratana took the rap.
Also, Lopes was a New Britain property tax scofflaw and was caught on camera rifling through the desk of a Republican aide at the state LOB.

Then, when Don DeFronzo received his six figure plum as Department of Administration Services Commissioner from Malloy, he brought Lopes with
him as "project manager."

Question: If the voters of the 24th Assembly District are crazy enough to elect Lopes as their Rep., will Lopes be allowed to keep his "project manager's job?

Yes, these liberal wackos are always protecting their own! And what does all this say about the true character of DeFronzo?

Lopes should be sentenced for life to the dungeons!!

Some political savvy individuals believe that Bozek can be called the spoiler in this district race.

Hey Frank isn't Lopes hatched? One might want to check as a stste employee he cannot run for state office if he is to maintain his status as an employee. Just checking as DeFronzo skirted that law for years.

Bozek would certainly be a better choice than the radical the communist party is endorsing!

Simple New Britain math:

1 Communista + 1 Conservative Democrat + 1 Conservative Republican = 1 Communista

I'm voting for Lopes - the only serious candidate in this race and I'm urging all my students to get their parents to vote for him as well.

It is not surprising that a self proclaimed union teacher, part of the socialist regime simply by the status of being a union teacher, would be supporting Lopes. Nor is it surprising that a union teacher would be promising furtherance of the indoctrination of students on behalf of the radical socialists or the union.

There are more of us than there are of you. Bottom line -- Socialism Works! I get a special tingling in my spine when I think of heroic socialists of years past like Vladimir Lenin and Eugene Victor Debbs. Kick and scream all you want -- it won't do a damn bit of good. We are indoctrinating your children, unionizing your businesses, knocking down your churches, and slowly fulfilling our goal of dominance. What you see now is just the beginning.

Lopes will win handily. Not sure why the GOP is even wasting its time.

Her list of "credible reference sources" from which my child's NBHS Civics Teacher requires her students to choose from, consists of The N.B. Herald, The Hartford Courant, The N.Y. Times, Time Magazine and Newsweek Magazine. Her obvious disregard for her student's inalienable right to freedom of thought makes her undeserving of the privilege to teach children, that was granted to her by parents and taxpayers.
