What is wrong with us? Paventi walks off with $51,000 a year. If he lives to be 90, he will receive $4,590,000. If he checks out at65, he will have collected $3,315,000! No mention of all the benefits.
And to think that a woman is about to be stoned to death for adultery in Iran.
He walks off smelling like a rose, laughing at all of us suckers footing the bill.

.....$51,0000 is chicken feed! The 2nd in command at University of Connecticut Security just retired with a pension of $132,000 a year according to Jon Lender's recent article. Since he had to give up the free tuition for his family and the free personal use of a state car, I guess he will be scraping to make ends meet collecting only $132,000 a year from the taxpayers!
Ya, but was he screwing his staff?
Still a deal compared to the chief at UConn getting over $250,000 a year!
Maybe the chief in New Britain should get a raise?

Good for him! I hope he decides to move out of state and never pay another dime in taxes to New Britain or Connecticut as he bleeds us for every dime in retirement and health care benefits he can get while never again contributing one dime to New Britain. Let those radical liberals pay and pay and pay!
The first commenter here has a real problem with his math! If he is to make $51k/yr and collects his pension for say 40 years then he will have collected $2million, how in the world do you get to $3 and $4 million? You must have been educated in the NB school system?????
For the record Frank, Paventi was not screwing his staff it was women outside of his job that got him into hot water. One of the female officers alleges he sent her sexually explicit texts but has yet to produce them. All of the other sexual allegations are centered around "an environment that sexually harassed women" in the workplace. These are facts and I am not defending his actions but merely stating the facts.

OBVIOUSLY THE PRODUCT OF AN INFERIOR UNIONIZED PUBLIC SCHOOL. HAD HE ATTENDED A NON-UNION PRIVATE SCHOOL, HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO ADD. TOO BAD HE APPARENTLY WASTED MOST OF HIS EDUCATION GETTING INDOCTRINATED INTO SOCIALISM BY UNION TEACHERS INSTEAD OF LEARNING SOMETHING USEFUL, LIKE ARITHMETIC!
