SENATOR BLUMENTHAL STRESSES JOB CREATION IN NEW BRITAIN.

Senator Richard Blumenthal counseled New Britain merchants with, "You need consumers buying more goods – and people with money in their pockets to spend," then he and NB Mayor O'Brien proceeded to discuss more of the money that will be taken from the same "people with money in their pockets" through O'Brien's taxation.

In addition to the half-Billion $$$ designated for the NB-Hartford busway it seems additional money is now needed to improve roads leading to the busway. Presumably we'll next hear of the need for $$$ for parking lots so busway users can park their cars.

We are deeply disappointed that the Mayor and the Senator would choose to tour a furrier business in City of New Britain. There are plenty of other businesses in New Britain like manufacturing and machine shops that they could have toured.

Job creation by destroying business with massive taxation and unbelievable regulation? What a dope!
