This is a perfect example for allowing Costco to open it's retail establishment in New Britain. Moving Okay Industries to Berlin takes away the taxes it pays to the city. Costco will keep some of those taxes in the city.
Agreed. But the voters just voted in O'Brian the politician over Bernacki the businessman. Costco was made possible because of Stewart not O'Brian. O'Brian worked up the AW Stanley crowd to a frenzy by claiming to fight Costco coming to New Britain. At least Stewart and Bernacki went on record to support a Fortune 500 company coming to New Britain.
Let the exodus continue. God bless New Britain.
Didn't O'Brien join Sherwood and the rest of the loony tunes in running a different Fortune 500 company out of the city?
Yep, he sure did ! I think the spouses joined them on the picket line which made it a nice family affair.
Is that the same wife that just got arrested in Hartford protesting those evil rich banks?
