We must remember that the Democratic council members approved the budget. The Republican council member did not. O'Brien had the ability to review the proposed budget as it was on the web site. Did he not do his homework so he could keep his word to keep taxes low? Before you make a statement/promise one should know the facts.

Hey wasn't Mark Fortin a supporter of Bernacki? What a freakin turncoat piece of crap he is! Here's a suggestion Mr, Fortin to save money, privatize everything from Fire to custodians then all of thosae lucrative union contracts will become null and void!

Where were all these people and their big ideas during the Stewart years? We could have saved all that money by now.

Don't be surprised when Mark Fortin is the only one from the Stewart Police Commission to show up on the O'Brien reconstituted Commission.

I guess if you are a big enough wannabe, you will sell your soul pretty cheaply.

Excuse my error in the last post - I meant Police Station Commission, not Police Commission.

The poster of this comment (above) is confusing writers of the Gospels with Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar."

Another is correct about some political "wannabes" co becoming shameless turncoats, even to the point of consorting with people like Phil Sherwood. Probably, Republican turncoat, Fortin and his partner Julie Swan will be supporting Lopes, too.
