Well, where is the dragging of the Mayor, Commission and others for appropriating this money; especially without comment? If it was the last leadership team in place there would be a ton of negativity included for the decision. But, since this decision was made by the Courant's preferred regime it is just water flowing gently under the bridge.
I am surprised that the totalitarian regime on West Main Street would support defending police officers, especially since the majority in their party appear to hate the police so intensely.
