So what? I would have done the same. Everyone needs to know where their enemies are.
We were blessed with Stewart. I am ashamed that I live in a state where the mayor, governor and their appointies are socialists. Thank God that my children moved to different locals.
Does anyone remember what it was like growing up in the 40s and the 50s?

It look's like the City of New Britain's Common Council three Subcommittees membership that is currently posted on the City Website needs an up dating....
To the "Cleaner". You obviously didn't and don't like former Mayor Stewart. It's a natural thing to like some people and others... not so much. I personally think that Tim O'Brien is a fake. He acts humble and nice and caring... but something else about him... hmmm.... there is another side and it is deep and evil, it's cultish and meant to destroy the America we have all been so proud of. He and his socialist pals are working at it like followers of some odd GOD. It's getting out of control. Something big has to happen to prevent it's spread before it's too late. Some don't even see it happening or choose to turn a blind eye.
Here's what's up. Tim Stewart did much to move this city forward, he worked to attract new businesses, he strived to hold the tax rate steady, he never wanted to layoff city workers, he cares deeply about the future of this city and it's citizens. He was tough and didn't always phrase things kindly, but he did the job. Now this administration should shut-up and do the job and not screw it all up with their socialist BS.

Does our new mayor and his Democratic radicals want to destroy whatever The Stewart administration accomplished without raising taxes or making any layoffs.
With the new Mayor and his radical henchmen they are trying spoil whatever image the former Mayor created for the city by having companies move into the city and also to move in as The Costco organization is proposing to do while these radicals picketed Wal- Mart forcing them to move out of town.
And now the mayor is touting no tax increases how? By transferring Water Department Funds in order to balance the apparent shortages created by the Democratic control council with their rejecting the Saint Thomas Aquinas sale proposal and remember the famous remark main by the then Alderman Phil Sherwood "where is the beef" to the individual planning to purchase The vacant Pinnecle Hieghts project.
The last remark points out to the Democratic control refusing to accept the offers for two properties totaling a sum of approximately $9,000,000.
Ans now they are twisting the blame onto the prior Republican administration when in reality it was the Democratic control votes that caused the shortages by voting against the sales.
Frank this is comical! Sending letters as they have done in the past to the AG to look into allegations of impropriety in the Stewart administration has amounteed to nothing more than politics. This is vintage Phil Sherwoody so that he may use this issue again sometime later. Watch your back people this guy will stab anyone in his way. And to use Water Department monies to close the perseived deficit is illegal! Those monies are collected from fees charged to residents and cannot be used for general fund purposes read the charter people. Someone like the CPOA should file a request to the AG's office to investigate this misuse of funds. More to come later.
The dumbbells in city hall are already getting responses from state ethics and the attorney general's office that they have no authority over the conduct of municipal officials. I could have told them they only have authority over state agencies and state employees, but these dumbbells are too ignorant to have known that!
They're not ignorant they did it on purpose Frank! Trying to ruin the good reputation of Mayor Stewart is laughable. This guy can't hold a candle to Stewart and he knows it that's why he uses Sherwoody as his bad guy big mouth! And for Mike Trueworthy to state that past budgets were not real? He was the one who inflated revenues many times to get no tax increases the loser hypocrite!
HARTFORD: The chief state's attorney's office confirmed that it received O'Brien's Chief of Staff complaint, but, as is its practice, would say nothing more. The State Elections Enforcement Commission had no comment either.
The Office of State Ethics released a statement saying: "In general, the (state) code of ethics is limited to state and not municipal officials. The OSE has limited jurisdiction over candidates for public office in the case of allegations that a 'quid pro quo' occurred."
Attorney General George Jepsen's office said it was reviewing the information, but added that the conduct of municipal officials doesn't generally fall under its authority.

Would illegally accessing state computers to post nasty comments about the New Britain mayor constitute campaign work on state time?
How about rifling through someone else's desk at the state capitol?

like growing up in the 40s and the 50s?
How about living in Hartford or a pool house in Berlin when you are elected to represent the people of New Britain?
Is anyone going to ask O'Brien or Klotz how much the city is spending in resources on what amounts to a political witch hunt of a former mayor?
How many teacher jobs could be saved for the money the Democrats are wasting on this political grand standing?
look's like little stewie left a real mess in city hall ? and it's stinking more and more every day !!!!

The stench is from the great unwashed currently "occupying" city hall.

This sounds like a play right out of Sol Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.
Any guess which radical in the administration might be behind it?

I am a real right wing nut. Proud of it too.
