New Britain Sells 18 Acres From Pinnacle Housing Site To CREC - Courant.com

When the Stewart administration proposed the Sale of a portion of the Pinnacle Hgts. property to CREC - to build a magnet school - some Council Democrats led by Dave DeFronzo opposed the move. Some Democrats joined the 4 Republicans in approving the measure.

Now, I understand the old adage that, "To the victor go the spoils" however, now that O'Brien is Mayor, he is praising the move for the same reasons that supporters said the move would be a good thing, and the Dems who were against it now support it. WOW, " Who'd a thunk? "

Frank, look it up in the Council Proceedings and see who the Dems were that voted against the move, they're all still on the Council with one possible exception. How does it look to you now, Dave?; February 14, 2012 at 2:16 PM
