In this case I would have to agree with Mr. Swan. John Rowland discussed this issue at great length on his show yesterday and it is a deal that takes money from these working people and generates millions of dollars to the bank in the way of service charges. There are limits on how much cash you can withdraw from the card at one time and a 3 transaction limit which is clearly meant to protect the fees for the bank because there is a service charge deducted from your balance once you exceed 3 transactions. You read that correctly, they limit the amount you can withdraw and then charge you fees for having more than 3 transactions, and that is in addition to the millions in fees the bank will get from the merchants for processing each transaction.

The worst part is this is being forced upon the people against their will. There is no way to opt out of it and you will be forced to accept your refund in this manner.

Give a communist dictator a foot and how soon they take a mile!

Think Swan will change his opinion once he finds out he is agreeing 100% with former Governor John Rowland on this subject?
